CONFIDENCE INTERVALS

INTRODUCTION. If we just have a sample's worth of data, we cannot determine a true population value exactly. However, we can make a reasonable guess — and even figure out how close that guess is likely to be. This range of plausible values is a "confidence interval." STANDARD DEVIATION
